Never thought to put it into words!

[Andy, to Pam, after improvising melody to list of names and suite numbers at business park (wow, that was a pretty long bracketed statement (what's the equivilent of "parenthetical" if it's brackets?)): "I was going to sing that part." "I know, and now you don't have to." "Well, except it was going to resolve the melody, so, now my head hurts. Feels like I held in a sneeze. Mmmmnrrreah, I hate this feeling. [Singing] Suite four-oh-one."

Indeed, Andy. Indeeeeeed. The curse of an excellent music education.

Note to self: Watch This is Spinal Tap w/B again.

  1. Nigel: It's part of a trilogy, a musical trilogy I'm working on in D minor which is the saddest of all keys, I find. People weep instantly when they hear it, and I don't know why.
    Director: It's very nice.
Nigel: You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like - I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece, really. It's sort of...
Director: What do you call this?
Nigel: Well, this piece is called "Lick My Love Pump".
